Storytelling in business is a hot topic. But what is storytelling? What’s the difference between a formal text and a story? And most importantly: how do you engage the people reading it?
This two-hour workshop is packed with creative assignments and interesting group discussions, introducing you to storytelling and showing you how to apply it to your business.
This workshop is offered to you in collaboration with Zoku.
When I travelled through Peru I taught travel writing workshops in the hostels I stayed at. These were such a success I decided to continue doing them after my return to Holland, and I carry on giving one wherever my travel bug takes me.
I now organise this workshop together with the amazing Zoku.
In 2 hours I give useful theory, combined with hands-on assignments that stimulate the writing muscles and teach you basic skills to improve your travel journal or blog.
The emphasis is on creativity so anyone can join!
Do you want to write stories, a blog, poems or lyrics, but you don’t know how to start? Then this workshop is perfect for you. In 2 hours I tickle your writing brain and spark your creativity.
With easy exercises and plenty of writing you will be sure to end up with a full notebook and a smile on your face. In small groups of like-minded souls, I create a friendly and safe environment to carefully try out your first stories. And you might meet other writers along the way.
Keep an eye out for the next one!
Writing daily helps you let go and get rid of stress. It unveils useful insights and slows you down. Meditation moves you into an intuitive state of mind, making you write from a deeper level.
Blending these two forces together gives you a powerful tool to brainstorm, get unstuck or help you move forward in many more ways than you can imagine.
In this intimate workshop, we do exactly as the title suggests: we meditate and then we write.
I give you clear instructions so you can let go, exhale and make yourself at home, while your pen does all the work. Keep an eye out for the next one!
The workshops have different price tags, ranging from €35 to €50.
(a small fee is added by Eventbrite)

The Bite-size workshops are held at the amazing Zoku. A long-stay hotel and hub that also serves as a bar, a restaurant or all together cool place to hang out with friends. We are using their inspiring ‘Bored Rooms’ for all our creative endeavours. Fun and inspiration guaranteed! Zoku is located on Weesperstraat 105 in Amsterdam.
I take only 4 to 6 students per workshop to keep it comfortable and cosy. This means my workshops fill up fast so don’t wait too long to claim your creative spot!
Yes they are, but you can write in any language you want.
All you need is a pen/pencil and a notebook!
If you know at least four other people who are interested, you can contact me, and we can arrange it.
If you are not sure which workshop suits you best,
simply contact me and we will figure it out together.
